Clairin Vaval – Arawaks Distillery – Cavaillon – Haiti – Sugarcane Juice Rum

Clairin Vaval is produced near the village of Cavaillon, located in the south of the country and known for its animated market in pure African style. It is made with a sugarcane variety called Madame Meuze and distilled in a homemade unique pot still. This particular fermented rum maintains the traditional local style of distillation and honors the first people of Haiti, the Arawaks.
