Cantine Colosi Nero d’Avola 2018

Nero d’Avola is the most important red wine grape in Sicily, and is one of Italy’s most important indigenous varieties. It is named after Avola, a town in the far south of Sicily and its wines are compared to the New World Shiraz, with sweet tannins and plum or peppery flavors. Dark ruby red in color, this wine offers intense fruit notes with heavy cherry aromas. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied and youthful.
