The 1998 Boal Single Cask Madeira has a deep amber rim and brown bowl. It is thick, like black treacle. It has very good acidity, intensity and depth. Delicious on the palate. Very high acidity, with great weight and a soft mouth feel. Long but soft. The palate shows flavors of Demerera sugar.
