La Moussiere is the crown jewel cuvee of this estate. Its unique fruitfulness and clarity truly define the style of an Alphonse Mellot. Voluptuous floral notes on the nose envelop the palate with a touch of white flowers and citrus; leaving a crisp refreshing finish. Very fine gold color with a green sheen. Its nose has a flowery, fruity bouquet. Organic & bio-dynamically farmed, it is produced from the upper Sancerre vineyard, the most famous of which is the Domaine La Moussiere. This has stunning minerality, and lovely floral and fruit notes that give it world class food friendliness.
