Virtual Tour de France Wine Tasting

France has long been the benchmark for wine quality and is one of the world’s most important wine producing countries. Home to some of the most exclusive and renowned wines in the world, there is also a diversity and breadth of offerings that is unmatched.

Join us via Zoom Friday, June 19th at 7:30 PM for a virtual “Tour de France” tasting and experience the diversity that France offers. (To prevent Zoom-bombing, the Zoom session data will only be sent to participants after they’ve purchased their take-home tasting kits.)

Take-home tasting kits are $85.00 each and include five 375 mL bottles (perfect size to share, we recommend 1 kit for 2-4 people) as well as a $10.00 credit towards the purchase of any 750 mL wine tasted during the event.

Domaine Céline & Frédéric Gueguen, Chablis (2018)
From northern Burgundy, this chardonnay is bright with a fine and very fruity nose reminiscent of white-fleshed fruits and citrus fruits.

Henri Bourgeois, Les Baronnes Sancerre Blanc (2018)
A wine of exotic fruit and citrus aromas; subtle and harmonious yet powerful.

Château Landat, Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois (2016)
Medium deep hue tinged with garnet. Focused nose of toasted oak with ripe fruit presence of redcurrant and raspberry.

Domaine Roger Perrin, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (2016)
A ripe, rounded style with structure and minerality, it delivers flavors of blackberries, blueberries, smoked earth, and violets.

Domaine du Mas Blanc, Banyuls Collection (2002)
From the south-eastern corner of Roussillon, just a few miles from the Spanish border, these sweet vins doux naturels are drunk both as aperitifs and dessert wines.

Pickup will be available at Norfolk Wine & Spirits starting at 4:30 PM on Thursday, June 18th. Delivery of tasting kits to those within our free local delivery range will be made before 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 19th.
