Whiskey Tasting: Smooth Ambler & Rabbit Hole
Join us on Thursday May 6th, at 7:00 PM, virtually or in person at The Curry House (Franklin, MA), for a tasting of Smooth Ambler and Rabbit Hole Whiskey and Rye with Tim Murphy, Brand Manager at Pernod Ricard, and cocktails by Gianna Bushe, a.k.a. @bibitybobitybooze.
Smooth Ambler Spirits was founded in 2009 in West Virginia, where they use local grain and water, and where they seem to find the perfect cadence of seasons for mellow aging. Their expressions include homemade whiskey and rye, sourced, and a blend of both. The brand is named after the easygoing gait of smooth-ambling horses, which travel at a pace best described as between a walk and a run.
Rabbit Hole story starts in Kentucky after founder Kaveh Zamanian abandoned an established career in clinical psychology and moved his family to create the distillery. Creativity and innovation are at their core values, and Rabbit Hole uses their own mash bills designed from scratch, including 4-grain non-chill filtered small batches, sherry casks and mizunara.
