Privateer Tasting with Bob McCoy

Join us on Thursday, November 4, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Norfolk Wine & Spirits, for a free in-store tasting of Privateer Rum with Bob McCoy, Director of Sales, Privateer.

Privateer Rum is an American pride and New England pride, with the distillery right in Ipswich, MA. The Distiller’s Drawer’s collection the distiller’s proudest achievement, a special treasure pulled straight from the cask that was unsweetened, unfiltered, and unadulterated. These are very limited in quantity and availability and there are only a handful of barrels released by the distillery. These are highly sought by collectors and connoisseurs alike. We will be sampling some of these expressions.

Special pour:  NWG has selected five single barrels of Privateer, the last of this is still aging at the Privateer Distillery warehouses.  Norfolk Whisky Group’s Privateer Armagnac Cask Finish.  Bob McCoy will be pulling a sample from the barrel for the tasting as a special treat. 

Welcome cocktail will be served.

ATTENTION: everyone in attendance can enter a RAFFLE for the upcoming debut release of the QUEEN’S SHARE 4 Year (slated for a December release). Every bottle purchased gives the customer an additional entry in the raffle.  Details to be disclosed at the tasting.
