Amrut Whisky Lunch at Da Vinci Bistro
Join us at Da Vinci Bistro in Sudbury, MA on Saturday, February 26th at 1:00 PM for a luxurious Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky tasting led by Raj Sabharwal of Glass Revolution Imports. Learn about the Amrut distillery while enjoying a multi-course meal paired with six expressions from India’s first single malt whisky distillery.
Sample ~$3,000 worth of Amrut single malts, including the latest expression of Amrut Greedy Angels, one of the oldest and most expensive Indian single malts ever released, and the first ever single cask of Amrut Spectrum bottled exclusively for a retail store in the world – something that will never be repeated
Norfolk Wine & Spirits was the first store in North America to bring in a single cask of Amrut in 2019. The first cask, “Ailaan-E-Jung” or Cask No. 662, was exceptional and garnered numerous accolades and awards, including 94 points from Whisky Advocate. Our Amrut Spectrum single cask marks the sixth Amrut bottled exclusively for Norfolk Wine & Spirits, the most by a retail store in North America! Other single casks we’ve selected include an ex-Rye (Cask No. 708), ex-Caroni Rum (Cask No. 5149, 93 Points – Whisky Advocate), Peated ex-Bourbon (Cask No. 2126), and ex-Oloroso Sherry (Cask No. 3819). The variety in our single cask selections showcases the class and versatility of Amrut single malt and the alchemy of conditions, expertise in distilling, and cask management combined with constant innovation which has been the hallmark of Amrut, which was pioneered by Surrender Kumar and is now led by Master Distiller Ashok Chokalingam.
Tickets cost $150 each and include attendance for one adult, eight pours of whisky, a multi-course meal prepared by Chef Peppino, raffle entry to win a bottle of Amrut Greedy Angels or Amrut Spectrum, and the first opportunity to purchase our single cask of Amrut Spectrum before it goes on sale to the public!
