Amrut Whisky Dinner at The Curry House
We are teaming up with Curry House to embark on a SPIRITed journey through India. With Curry House owner Krishna and Head Chef Sushil Arora, we will embark on a culinary journey that will take us to various regions of India. Chef Sushil Arora will create small plates that will feature food from various parts of India. Northern Indian food will have an emphasis on meat, wheat and Tandoor, while Coastal Goan food will have elements of seafood, coconut, etc. Vegetarian options will also be available.
Chef Sushil Arora’s plates will be paired with Amrut Indian single malt whisky. Amrut stunned the whisky world by winning rich accolades from “whisky aficionados” a few years back. Amrut has followed up the initial success and built upon it with a wide range of expressions. We will be pairing these beverages with food from the local region. Norfolk Wine & Spirits’ Bikram Singh will talk about the whisky or beverage from the region while Sushil will discuss the spices and cooking techniques that influence the flavors and the regional differences.
