This work has earned him recognition fromWhisky Magazine\, naming him the 2023 Global Distillery Manager of the Year. \nTyler is deeply passionate about collaborating with industry partners\, including researchers\,farmers\, and maltsters. Together\, they strive to identify and sustainably cultivate flavorfulbarley varietals that benefit all stakeholders within the supply chain. Embracing the belief that“a rising tide lifts all boats\,” Tyler has also assumed the role of Chair of the EducationCommittee for the Washington Distillers Guild.
