SUMMARY:Mezcal Tasting: La Luna with Owner & Founder Salvador Chávez
DESCRIPTION:Join us virtually via Zoom or in person at The Curry House (Franklin\, MA) on Tuesday\, April 27th\, at 7:00 PM\, for an introduction to La Luna Mezcal led by Salvador Chávez (Founder/Owner of Puente Internacional\, producer of La Luna Mezcal\, Gustoso Rums and Gran Dovejo Tequila) and Craig Hiljus (VP\, Sales and Marketing\, Puente Internacional). \nLa Luna Cupreata is made with agave Cupreata in Etucuaro (Michoacan\, Mexico.) At an elevation of 1\,790 meters\, the Cupreata Agave are harvested after eight to ten years of growth. The agave piñas are fire roasted in a stone-lined oven using estate sourced white oak. The cooked agave is milled by hand and naturally fermented in open-air  wooden vats before being double distilled in a copper and pinewood Tarascan still. This is a great way to learn all about the brewing process and possibly try a few new beers from the comfort of your home. \nTake-home tasting kits cost $12.00 each and include a custom\, mixed four pack (one of each expression listed below) and a promo code for 10% off the purchase of any Jack’s Abby and Springdale expressions (valid April 29-May 2\, 2021). \n\nJack’s Abby House Lager (16 Oz\, Canned)\nJack’s Abby Blood Orange Wheat (16 Oz\, Canned)\nSpringdale Beer Company Lavenade Tart Ale (16 Oz\, Canned)\nSpringdale Beer Company Spiritual Gangster Hazy IPA (16 Oz\, Canned)\n\nTasting kits are available for immediate pickup at Norfolk Wine & Spirits.
